High Pressure Laminate(HPL),also known as decorative laminate or fireproof board,is a decorative material made from decorative paper and multiple layers of kraft paper impregnated with thermosetting resins(melamine resin for surface layers,phenolic resin for core layers),then consolidated under high temperature(approx.150°C)and high pressure(not less than 7MPa).
